Dwight Howard is soon to become NBA's 2009 best defensive player. That isn't really a surprise of course. His great athletic skills allows him to control the paint. Wether it is a one on one defense or help defense, Howard put pressure on the other team and it it difficult to approach the Magic's hoop. Howard has been one of the hottest candidate to the MVP trophy even though James is dominating this year.
