Point Guards Run The Show

This NBA playoffs debute was the stage of great point guards performances. Wether their teams won or lost point guards have marked these 1st games

Rose break the record for points scored for a rookie
Bulls point guard Rose broke the Kareem Abdul Jabbar record for most points score by a rookie for his playoffs debute. With 36 points, Rose was the main reasons why the Bulls upset the Celtics. He was efficient and led the bulls, despite a great performance of Rajan Rondo.

Billups Scores 36
Billups is far from being a rookie but scored 8 3-pointers to get 36 points, and the Nuggets dominated the Hornets. Chris Paul played pretty well, but couldn't do nothing against Billups.

Williams with 17 assits
Deron Williams also broke a personnal record by delivering 17 assists for only 2 turnovers. The Jazz couldn't compete with the Lakers that were too strong in the paint for Utah that played without Okur.

Other honorable performances by Andre Miller and others. But as you could see PGs were hot this week end
