Allen Iverson's season is finally over. Whereas the ex star of the Sixers made the headlines last week as he was expressing his concerns about starting games on the bench, Iverson's might miss to the Pistons for the playoffs.
Now don't get me wrong. As a matter of fact I am still considering that it was great news for Detroit not to see Iverson coming back, because the team finally found its chemestry while Iverson was out. But it is sad. Because we all know Iverson is an experienceed players and owns great one on one skills that could help the Pistons to win important games.
In my mind there is no doubts Iverson won't be back next year since he would have been a bench player if he'd have had go on this season and have expressed he wasn't ok with that situation. What is going to happen to Iverson. As Marbury has proen everybody wrong, and showed he could become a great role player, Iverson has failed to show that. He was put in a situation where he was for the first time in a potential nba champioship team, but could not adjust his game.
That will be interesting to see if some teams in this league might be interested by AI. I bet on a return to Phily, for a marketing purpose mainly.
